Bourbon Pub
Bourbon Pub is located opposite the Big Springs Gondola at Northstar. You don’t have to venture far from the slopes to find amazing burgers in Northstar. The cuisine here is an upscale, contemporary take on classic pub fare. Everything on the menu is prepared with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, and the best-selling BP wagyu burger is no exception. Conveniently located right in the middle of the Village at Northstar Resort, Inclined Burgers and Brews offers a simple but delicious menu with burgers (including veggie burgers), chicken sandwiches, and fries. You can ski right up to the entrance, making Inclined the perfect stop for satisfying hungry mountain adventurers. It might be tough to decide which of their house made sauces to enjoy on your handcrafted burger, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the options. Adult beverages are available, as are kids meals, and as each order is completely made from scratch and customizable, it’s easy to please everyone in your group.
Jason’s Beachside Grill
The waterfront setting of Jason’s Beachside Grill is a major draw in any season, but especially in warmer months when you can sit out on the scenic lakefront deck. A family-friendly atmosphere and classic American cuisine also attract visitors and locals to the restaurant. The extensive menu dedicates a section to gourmet burgers, all half-pound, flame-broiled patties on a brioche bun with a side of beer-battered fries. Lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions are served on the side, so you can arrange your own fixings as you like.
In addition to the unadorned but customizable Tahoe Turger, there’s a Mushroom Swiss Burger and a California Burger with avocado, olives, bacon and house dressing. If you're not craving the classic burger, substitute a chicken breast or a turkey or veggie patty. Or try the Grilled Portabella topped with roasted bell peppers, grilled onions and creamy goat cheese. A favorite among locals, Burger Me! has expanded to three locations in the Lake Tahoe area including Truckee, about seven miles from Northstar. The Grid Bar and Grill
The Grid Bar and Grill is the “North Shore’s spot for burgers, sports, cold beer and entertainment.” WIth burgers in the spotlight, you know this is a good choice for burgers near Northstar. Claims to local fame include lively karaoke nights, 12 flavors of Hawaiian shaved ice and no fewer than nine different burgers. They’re all based on a third-pound Angus beef patty on a potato bun, with a choice of shoestring fries or coleslaw. Options range from the Plain Jane dressed only with signature Grid Sauce, to more elaborate burgers topped with pastrami, bacon, roasted red peppers, a whiskey onion ring, and other tempting choices.
