PARKING & SHUTTLES , opens in a new window
Free Parking | Castle Peak: Free parking is available daily at the Castle Peak lots on a first-come, first-served basis. The Castle Peak lots are the first available parking option on Northstar Drive (located at the roundabout at Northstar Drive). Castle Peak is served by a continuous free shuttle bus service, which runs between the Castle Peak and The Village at Northstar.
Paid Parking | Village View Lot: The Village View Lots offer convenient parking in close proximity to Northstar Village and will require reservations this winter on weekends (Saturday-Sunday) and peak periods between 7am – 1pm. Please arrive by 11am to guarantee your parking spot.
- Parking is free at the Village View lots Monday – Friday/non-peak periods.
- Reservations are required on weekends and peak periods between 7am – 12pm.
- Reservations will be free for vehicles with 4+ occupants and $20 for vehicles with 3 or fewer occupants.
- After 12pm on weekends and peak periods, all parking in this lot will be free and no reservations will be required.
Paid Parking | Preferred Paid Lot: The Preferred Paid lot allows you to park just steps away from the gondola. Preferred Paid Parking costs $25 per day Monday-Friday (non-peak) and $50 on weekends and holidays. Payment is cashless using one of three easy methods: self-serve kiosks in the parking lots, the Park Northstar App, or through the “tap and ski” QR code on lot signs. Premium parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis on weekdays, and reservations are required on weekends and peak periods. Parking in the Preferred Paid lot is complimentary after 3pm.
Shuttles & Public Transportation: TART offers a complimentary, regional shuttle service to and from Truckee - SEE SCHEDULE. We also offer a free Dial-A-Ride service for guests staying with us locally. Download the Northstar Transportation iOS or Android app today.

Self-service Day Lockers, located near Skate Rentals in the village, offer all-day access from early morning to midnight—perfect for stashing your extras while you explore.

URGENT CARE CLINIC , opens in a new window
A full-service urgent care clinic is available to treat most injuries and illnesses. The board-certified physicians and nurses at Northstar Medical Clinic have emergency and sports medicine training and can perform advanced procedures to treat fractures and dislocations. The clinic has a digital x-ray and stocks basic first aid supplies and prescription medicines and is located on the lower level of the Northstar Club building near the base of the Big Springs Gondola, open 9am – 5pm daily.

LOST & FOUND
Our Lost and Found desk is located in the village at the Security Office, and is open from 8am - 5pm daily. Please visit the office at the base of the stairway by the preferred parking lot or call us to inquire about missing items.

Pet Policy
WE ARE A DOG FRIENDLY RESORT
We are proud to be a dog-friendly resort. Dog-friendly lodging accommodations can be found at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe.
Well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in the village throughout the year, however they are not allowed to ride the chairlift or gondolas for safety reasons.

If your little ones are too young for Children's Ski School, The Village at Northstar is home to Little Gems Childcare, offering weekend childcare sessions.
About Little Gems Weekend & Holiday Sessions:
Winter season-long sessions are open to children 18 months to 5 years, starting December 9th through April 7th. If you have a child who is not quite ready to hit the slopes, our weekend and holiday program is the perfect solution! Designed to coordinate with Northstar Teams program.
Dates: December 9th - April 7th
Hours: 8:15-8:45 am - 3:30 pm
Price: $10,000 if enrolled by 9/30, $12,000 if enrolled by 10/31
Includes 44 days and lunch.
Drop-ins may be available for children who attend our weekday programs.
