East Ridge Zone
Our Kids Adventure Zone is located on the Lower Powder Bowl trail off of East Ridge. While cruising down this trail, children may see a bear cub playing in a tree, or they may ski under eagles and hawks. Children love to see how many carved wooden animals they can spot hidden along the way of this open gladded trail that winds through the woods. Children should have strong linked turns and be able to ski easy blue runs to enjoy this wooded adventure.

Located off Village Run this trail has the feel of a mining wagon as its name implies. The trail winds up and down with many twists and turns as you ski through our wooded area. This trail is great after a big snowstorm and is suited for children who can ski linked turns in control.

Skicology
This adventure trail, located off Luggi’s along West Ridge, will take our skiers on a wooded trail filled with signs where children will be introduced to the native animals that make Northstar their home. The Skicology Adventure Zone is designed for children who can ski linked turns in control. They should be capable of performing skidded turns in both directions and ski easy blue runs.
