Chad Shrewsbury, Executive Chef, Tavern 6330'
| Inspired by his father who worked as a hotel and restaurant manager in the San Francisco Bay Area, Chad began working in local kitchens as a prep cook in his teens near his home in Walnut Creek, California. A self-taught chef, Chad honed his talents by working under prominent chefs throughout the Bay Area. In 2003, Chad moved to Truckee to satisfy his need to be in the mountains. He headed up the kitchen at Old Greenwood, before moving to Six Peaks Grille at Resort at Squaw Creek. His award-winning work there brought opportunities to open new properties in Los Angeles, New Mexico and Arizona. Driven to stay at the forefront of his craft, Chad accepted an opportunity with Northstar in 2014. He currently serves as Executive Chef of Tavern 6330’. Chad lives in Truckee with his wife, son, and two dogs, and spends his free time fly fishing in local rivers.
