Teams registration does not include a season pass.  All athletes must purchase a season pass separately.  

 

SAVE THE DATE: Northstar Truckee Parent Orientation October 27th, 2018. Orientation is an opportunity to meet Head Coaches, discuss and pre-order equipment needs, start discussing season goals and competition schedules, and to rekindle winter relationships with Teams families. We encourage all Teams families to a attend parent orientation. Please note that Bay Area Orientation has been canceled and we will be only hosting one orientation at Northstar this season.

 
Northstar Teams programs are consistent with USSA Long-term athlete development systems.  We are not focused on short-term success and the hazards (and burnout) that often come with it.  We follow individualized plans to make sure all athletes can maximize their long term potential and their enjoyment of the sport.  We take into account every athletes development, physiologically, cognitively and socially, as well as their experience skiing.  
 
All athletes who are registered for Alpine program must register for USSA.  To renew your membership or register new athletes please go to the USSA site.
 
All Snowboard athletes must register for USASA.  To renew your membership or register new athletes please go to the USASA website.
 
Team jackets are mandatory for the Alpine and All Mountain ski programs.  To purchase a jacket please visit the Northstar Teams Foundation website.

FAQ's

Lift tickets are not included in the base price of lessons. Everyone accessing the mountain must have a lift ticket. For many of our lessons we offer a discounted lift ticket as an add-on product.

Like lift tickets, equipment rental is not included in the price of adult lessons, unless noted otherwise. You can make your equipment reservation online. www.rentskis.com Some adult group lessons will include equipment and/or limited lift tickets. Lesson Details
 

You should select the level that you are currently skiing/riding at, not what you want to become. All you need to select is beginner, intermediate or advanced. Upon arrival, we will combine you with other guests of the same skill level.

For 3-6 year old group lessons, the children need to be checked in by 9:30am. They will ski or snowboard during the day, with breaks and a lunch built into their full day experience. Pickup is between 3:00 - 3:20pm, depending on program type. Younger skiers and snowboarders may take longer breaks during the day.

For 4-6 year old small group lessons (Ultimate 4), the children need to be checked in by 8:30am. They will ski or snowboard during the day, with breaks and a lunch built into their full day experience. Pickup is at 3:20pm.

For 7-12 year old group lessons, the children need to be checked in by 9:00am. They will ski or snowboard during the day, with breaks and a lunch built into their full day experience. Pickup is at 3:40pm.

For 7-12 year old small group lessons (Ultimate 4), the children need to be checked in by 8:30am. They will ski or snowboard during the day, with breaks and a lunch built into their full day experience. Pickup is at 3:40pm.

For adult full day small group lessons (Ultimate 4), lunch is not included. There will be a lunch break when you can grab some lunch on your own. Check in is at 8:30am; the full day lesson starts at 9:30am and ends at 3:30pm.

For private lessons, lunch is not included. If you are in a 6-hour private lesson, there will be a lunch break when you can grab some lunch on your own.

If you are late for your lesson we will do everything possible to accommodate. However, if the class has left the base area, you may have to reschedule for another available date.
