Summer Fun At Northstar

Get your kids outside this summer and bring them to Northstar California to experience the fun of Kid's Adventure Club. Go up on the mountain and learn about the different bugs and insects throughout our mountain, or capture the moment as they jump to the sky on our bungee trampoline. With summer activities ranging from miniature golf to a rock climbing wall, your child will be surrounded by fun and adventurous summer activities.

On the date of your reservation, you'll pick up your child’s ticket at the Kids Zone desk, next to the roller skating rink in Northstar’s Village, between 9:30 and 9:45am. Kids will need to wear proper hiking shoes and a hat, and please bring water and sunscreen. Kids will start their adventure around 10am and will be available for pick-up from 3:15-3:30pm.

Guests are required to present the credit card used for purchase upon activity check-in.

Kids Adventure Camp - Frequently Asked Questions

Each day we start with an indoor learning segment inside the Village at the Kids Ski and Board School where we discuss adventures and activities planned for the day. The Kid's Adventure Club provides fun, interactive learning experience through nature hikes, games and activities. We focus on exploration and discovery, and building on their curiosities in the outdoors. Adventures include wilderness survival skills, scavenger hunts, flora and fauna identification, wildlife observation, wildflower planting, bird watching, team building games and arts and crafts. Each afternoon will include other fun activities such as roller skating, mini golf, gem panning, bungee trampoline, rock wall and spider web. At the very end of the day, we will be inside the Kids Ski and Snowboard School in the Village for to recap what we discovered on our adventures, our favorite activities and create tomorrow’s plan.

$155/day, lunch included

The kids can select from a menu. Menu items usually include grilled cheese, cold sandwiches, hot dogs, Hamburgers, chicken fingers, salad, fresh fruit and vegetables. There are vegetarian and gluten free options available.  Please let us know if your child has any eating restrictions or preferences. Also, we do provide snacks such as graham crackers, gold fish, pretzels, apples and juice. 

Pre-register online, by phone at 1-800-GO-NORTH, or in person at the Season Pass Office. You can sign up the day of at the Season Pass Office near the skating rink in the center of the Village.
Please meet them in the same place you dropped them off in the morning (Season Pass Office) at 3:15.  The guide/counselor will take 10 minutes to review the day with you and will end at 3:30pm.  If you arrive early, the group will likely be inside the Kids Ski and Board School kids room (next to Rubicon Pizza) or finishing up indoor activities or at the Kids Zone on the Village Overlook.
Yes we do. We recommend you apply sun block on your kids prior to arrival, however, we will also ensure everyone has sun block on prior to hiking and will re-apply as necessary.
Yes. We will ensure all kids are well hydrated throughout the day.  We recommend kids bring a small water bottle with them for the day and any special snacks they prefer.
Please stop by or call the season pass/ticket office where a staff member will be able to get in touch with the guide/counselor.  Also, the group will be having lunch at approximately 12:30 at the Day Lodge. This is a good time to stop in and check on kids if you need to.
Meet your guide/counselor at the Season Pass Office 9:30am-10:00am. Adventure starts at 10am.
We will assess group dynamics during our morning introductions and split groups up accordingly. We strive to form groups according to age, physical ability, guest’s requests and children’s interests in varying adventures and activities.
Can you give it to them?  Northstar is not permitted to administer any medications. However, if your child is old enough to carry it on themselves, we can remind them to take it or parents are welcomed to stop by the mid-mountain lunch room at 12:30 to ensure they take it.
