Q: Where will check-in be for the Great Bear Lodge, One Village Place, the Iron Horse Lodge, the Big Horn Lodge and the Catamount Lodge?
A: Central check-in is conveniently located at the Iron Horse South Lodge lobby located at the upper skier drop off loop on Northstar Drive at the village.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging check-in is at 5:00 p.m. and check-out is at 10:00 a.m. We will do our best to accommodate special requests but at times it is difficult to provide early or late check-outs due to the volume of guests arriving and departing. Luggage storage is available for guests through the Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging guest services department if it is required due to an early arrival or late departure.
Q: What if I arrive after the lobby is closed?
A: You should call the Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging front desk 530.550.3300 when you arrive at the bottom of Northstar Drive. A security escort will meet you at the lobby, provide you with your check-in packet, keys and escort you to your residence.

Q: Is the heated underground parking for the Iron Horse Lodge, Big Horn Lodge, Catamount Lodge, One Village Place and the Great Bear Lodge free for guests?
A: Absolutely. One vehicle parking pass will be distributed with each reservation or party. If space is available, additional passes will be issued at no charge.
Q: Can you reduce the minimum number of nights required throughout the year?
A: As a general guideline, we are unable to waive any minimum night stay requirements. However, if there are holes that need to be filled and shorter stays are available we will offer those on a case by case basis. Departure housekeeping charges will be incurred for any reservation of less than two nights duration. Check with the Northstar Central Reservations department for availability.
Q: Can guests park motorhomes, boats or trailers in the Village at Northstar?

Q: Do you offer daily housekeeping services?
A: Yes, during the winter season, for any booking of five nights or more. Daily trash and tidy service consists of making of beds, towel change, emptying garbage cans, start dishwasher, wipe down hard surfaces and vacuum as needed. Guests staying six or more nights will also receive a mid-week clean on the fourth day which consists of changing of sheets, change of towels, emptying garbage, dust and vacuum as needed. Daily housekeeping may be requested (for a fee) for guests staying less than five nights at the time of reservation by Northstar Central Reservations. Housekeeping charges vary dependent upon residence type booked.
Q: Can you give us an idea of which bedding configuration is likely to be standard at TMRL?
A: Each Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging condominium is privately owned and furnished. As a general guideline, most residences provide a minimum amount of bedding per bedroom to enhance the spaciousness of each room.

One Village Place

The Great Bear Lodge
The most exclusive address in the Village at Northstar™! The Iron Horse Lodge
Gateway to the Village, the Iron Horse Lodge's two buildings offer luxurious one, two, three and four bedroom condominiums with expansive views of the mountain surroundings and the immediate proximity of the Village and the Slopes. Each luxury Iron Horse unit offers more living space than is generally available in most condominiums in Lake Tahoe. The Big Horn Lodge
The Big Horn Lodge is situated at the base of Northstar at Tahoe® ski resort on the plaza. Featuring a total of fifty-two studio, one, two and three bedroom tastefully designed residences, some with ski-in, ski-out access overlooking the skyway. The Big Horn Lodge is one of the most sought after winter escapes in North Lake Tahoe.
The Catamount Lodge
The Catamount Lodge, located directly across from the Northstar at Tahoe gondola, is the perfect location for friends and family that want to be closest to the lifts so that they can make first tracks on the mountain each morning. Featuring well appointed, suites, studios, one, two and three bedroom condominium residences, these accommodations provide a luxury vacation rental experience for the most particular traveler. A residential fitness facility with state of the art exercise equipment, steam rooms, locker rooms and outdoor hot tubs are all features of the Catamount Lodge.

Q: Will the residences have ski lockers?
A: Yes. Ski lockers are located in the lobby of all lodges with the exception of One Village Place where guests will overnight valet their ski equipment. Locker keys are presented to guests upon check-in.
Q: Are residences at the Great Bear Lodge, Iron Horse Lodge and Catamount Lodge ski-in/ski-out?
A: No. These lodges are considered slope side. Each location has a walk no longer than one minute to the gondola in the village.
Q: Is the Big Horn Lodge considered ski-in/ski-out?
A: Yes. Some residences will have ski-in/ ski-out access to the ski way. Currently there are no ski-in, ski-out residences available on the Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging rental program.
Q: Is One Village Place considered ski-in/ski-out?
A: Yes. Guests will access the gondola directly through the lobby.
Q: What retail outlets and restaurants are open in the village?
A: Please check the village directory for a list of food and beverage and retail establishments now open in the village.
Policies, Rules + Rates
Q: What is the Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging Standard Deposit Policy?
A: 25% deposit at time of reservation. Final payment for total stay due 30 days prior to arrival.
Q: What is the Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging Holiday Deposit Policy?
A deposit of 25% of the balance is due at the time of reservation with final payment due 60 days prior
Q: What is the Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging Standard Cancellation Policy?
A: $100 penalty for reservation cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival (or 60 days before arrival for 12/20-1/5 arrivals). Minimum $100 penalty. If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days before arrival (or less than 60 days prior to arrival for 12/20-1/5) or after arrival, the entire amount is non-refundable. No refunds for early departure.
Q: What is the tax rate?
Q: Are there any additional fees that guests pay?
A: No unless housekeeping services are desired that are not included in the guests rental due to the length of stay. Housekeeping services and fees may be obtained by calling the Northstar Central Reservations department.
Q: Are pets allowed in Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging residences?
A: All lodging residences are privately owned, therefore pets are not permitted.
