Mountain Bike + Hike Park

Northstar is home to Northern California's largest mountain bike park. Not sure where to start? The Northstar Bike Academy's Bike 101 Package is the perfect introduction to downhill mountain biking. Our signature trail, LiveWire, is the first fully irrigated mountain bike trail and a must-ride trail for more advanced riders. Northstar also offers scenic lift rides for miles and miles of hiking.

Interactive Summer Trail Map

NOTE: The summer trail map is a rendering only. Refer to the degree of difficulty symbol printed in front of each trail's name on the map for each trail's rating (green circle, blue square, black diamond, double black diamond). Please note the orange oval signifies Skill Development Area & Mountain Bike Terrain.

Trail symbols describe the general degree of challenge of trails only within this resort. Trail designations do not apply to terrain features that may exist on a trail. You are the sole judge of your ability to proceed on any trail or to use any terrain feature. Skill Development Areas (SDA) and Mountain Bike Terrain may include log jumps, rails, bridges, and other terrain features. They are provided for your enjoyment and offer adventure, challenge and fun. Skill Development Areas and Mountain Bike Terrain are designated by the orange oval. Skill Development Areas and Mountain Bike Terrain use exposes you to the risk of serious injury. Prior to using Skill Development Areas and Mountain Bike Terrain, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with all instructions and warnings and to follow the "Mountain Bike Responsibility Code," "Hiker's Responsibility Code," "Northstar Information & Rules," "Smart Ride" and "Trail Report."
