First Tracks + Breakfast

Northstar California's award-winning corduroy and legendary tree skiing is some of the best in North America, and on Saturdays, this season, you can get first dibs on them when you sign up for First Tracks and Breakfast at Northstar (weather& conditions permitting).

First Tracks & Breakfast is recommended for Advanced (levels 6+) skiers and riders, ages 13+.

The First Tracks and Breakfast program is offered Saturdays, February 16 and 23, March 9 and 23, weather and conditions permitting.

How It Works

1. Sign up in advance online, at the Tickets & Season Pass Office in the Village at Northstar or by calling 530.562.2267 or 1.800.GO.NORTH (1.800.466.6784). Reserve your lift ticket in advance at this time. (Lift ticket or season pass is required).
    
2. First Tracks guides will meet you at 7:30 a.m. at the bottom of the Big Springs Express Gondola and then accompany you up the Tahoe Zephyr Express to the top of Backside where your adventure begins. You and other First Tracks participants will have the Backside or Lookout Mountain, all to yourselves for a few runs before the lifts open to the public. For your safety, First Tracks participants are required to stay with our First Tracks Guides at all times.
    
3. Following your First Tracks adventure on the Backside or Lookout Mountain, head to the Zephyr Lodge for a complimentary breakfast.

Cost

$80 per person. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cost includes a First Tracks guide and a full Epic breakfast at the Zephyr Lodge. A lift ticket or season pass is required.
