The Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe brings up to thirty kids to Northstar-at-Tahoe eight times a year. Every time we go the staff is friendly, getting tickets and rentals is a breeze, and the kids have a great time! Northstar has been the mountain for our ski and snowboard program for 5 years now, and we are looking forward to many more successful years to come.  On behalf of all our kids and their parents, I would like to thank the Northstar staff for the amazing memories.

- Youth Roots

For the sixth year in a row Northstar at Tahoe will be sponsoring a truly meaningful event for low income youth living in San Francisco's public housing. City of Dreams long ago developed an education based curriculum full of life lessons to align with this annual "Snow Day." Each year dozens of youth see snow for the first time in their lives and this annual experiential learning event is always voted #1 among the youth and their mentors. City of Dreams mentorship program would like to thank Northstar at Tahoe for working with us to expand the perspectives of youth, encourage them to develop their own sense of direction, independent of peer pressure and other external forces. Your commitment to these most vulnerable populations allows us to help them reach their highest potential.

We are so lucky to first be able to offer this wonderful gift to them all, and secondly, thankful that Northstar has available such a good package making it possible. All the Bonehead Campers and their parents think this is so great of Michael and I. But the truth is, Michael and I are receiving the gift. During these days together we get to know the children and develop friendships that we hope will last our lifetime. Our own daughters, who act as Counselors and are required to attend this event every year, also learn huge lessons during this "required family fun" time. Michael and I want to age with young people who will help keep us young in spirit throughout our lives. Snow sports seem to be the perfect venue for this.

I have been bringing Sutter's Ski and Snowboard Club to Northstar for 4 years now. We keep coming back because Northstar treats us right. We are always greeted with a prompt and smiling face. The rates are the best for groups and the resort is beautiful, especially all the new upgrades. Everyone loves all the terrain parks and the half pipe. We feel taken care of and enjoy every visit.
