Northstar California as part of the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA), hosts National Safety Awareness Week, January 19 - 27, 2013. Come learn all about our Safety Initiatives we use all-season long to keep our guests and employees safe, check out all the new and improved safety signs throughout mountain, and more! All of the activities listed below are free. To participate in the on-mountain activities you will just need a lift ticket or 2012.2013 season pass.

Meet the Mountain Safety Tours
Tours will feature important safety tips and general snow safety while on the mountain.
Daily, 10 am and 1 pm - meet at the Demo Yurt at Mid-Mountain

Snow Cat Open House
We will have one of our grooming snow cats on display for kids of all ages to come and check out, sit in, learn about how we groom the mountain to keep everyone safe and take photos with offered by Epic Mix Photo.

Safety Table with National Ski Patrol
January 20-21, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
National Ski Patrol will be on the gondola deck handing out Safety information and holding a raffle for Northstar gift cards.
