Straddling the borders of Nevada and California, the Sierra Nevada is a mountain bikers dream. The Tahoe Trail 100 offers a two-loop, 50 kilometer course filled with beautiful trail views of Lake Tahoe. Rocky summits and breathtaking pine forests are found in every direction from the host location of Northstar California. Course map is available here.
Each Leadville Qualifying Series race provides 25-100 qualifying slots to the Leadville Trail 100 mountain bike race, based on the total number of registered riders at each qualifier event. Half of the qualifying spots will be allocated based on the top age-group performances and half will be drawn among riders who have finished the qualifier race within the allocated cut-off time. Online registration will close July 15 at midnight. In-person registration will be offered July 18 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Northstar Village. If spots remain, in-person registration will be available at packet pickup on July 18, 2014 for an additional fee more than the final published price. Registration is available online here.
Race number pickup, registration and the race start will take place in the Village at Northstar. The race begins at Castle Peak Parking Lot and will loop through and finish on the Village Overlook. View course map here.

Interested in volunteering for the Tahoe Trail 100? Leadville Race Series and Lifetime Fitness are looking for volunteers.
Athletes should park in the Village View Parking Lot A and ride down to the start. There will be no on-site transportation back to the start.
Some of the event course takes place on the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit and the Tahoe National Forest under a Special Use Permit. Permit pending.
